abstract landscapes, rich in tone and texture, such as 'Slate
Landscape' featured on this site.
Ballard exhibited regularly with Roland, Browse & Delbanco
in London and his paintings became increasingly de Stael influenced
following a six month sabbatical in Paris in 1957.
